১৮২০- একটি কম্পাস নিডল  পর্যবেক্ষণ করার সময়, বিজ্ঞানী হ্যান্স ক্রিশ্চিয়ান অরস্টেড তড়িৎচুম্বকত্ব আবিষ্কার করেছিলেন

1820- While observing a compass needle, scientist Hans Christian Oersted discovered electromagnetism

১৯৩৪- "দ্যা  সার্জন'স  ফটোগ্রাফ", লোচ নেস মনস্টারকে দেখানোর অভিযোগে সবচেয়ে বিখ্যাত ছবি, ডেইলি মেইলে প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল  (১৯৯৪ সালে, এটি একটি প্রতারণা বলে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছিল)

1934- "The Surgeon's Photograph", the most famous photograph allegedly showing the Loch Ness Monster, was published in the Daily Mail (in 1994, it was revealed to be a hoax)

1972- The Apollo 16 Lunar Module landed on the surface of the Moon
